Altitude: 1619masl 

 Kii Factory is a washing station located at an altitude of 1619m in Ngariama, Kirinyaga County. It is currently under the umbrella of the Rungeto Agricultural Cooperative and is the largest factory managed by the cooperative with 1300 members, of which 1000 are active farmers who bring cherries every year. The cherries brought to the factory are pulped using water pumped from the nearby Kii River. The water used is purified, stored in tanks and recirculated. Such technical advice is provided through training programs and on-site inspections conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture. Kii Factory is also working to encourage coffee producers to grow coffee again due to the rising price of coffee.

 We are releasing the fifth batch of El Paraiso Farm, which is popular for its innovative coffee production. This batch is called the Red Plum Lot, and it is the first release in our store. The coffee from El Paraiso Farm is often mistaken for infused coffee because of its very unique taste, but the surprising taste is created by the fermentation control of producer Diego, who is known as the leading anaerobic expert in Colombia. The biggest feature is the double fermentation at low temperature using yeast, the washing technique called thermal shock using cold and hot water, and the low temperature drying technology that was developed independently. Please enjoy Diego's wonderful coffee, which is popular worldwide, using a scientific approach.
